An 8th grade Orchestra parent is organizing a performance event at Glacier HIlls Assisted Living. This is a great opportunity for your child(ren) to volunteer and give back to the community! Here are some basic details regarding the performance, and from there you can decide whether your child/family would like to participate.
What: Chamber Performance for Senior Citizens and community members Where: Glacier Hills Assisted Living, held in the Life Enrichment Center (pavillion building B) 1200 Earhart Rd, Ann Arbor, MI 48105 When: Concert will begin at approximately 4-4:10pm on Monday, December 17. Students/families will need to head to Glacier Hills immediately after school. Why: To give students a unique performance opportunity, and to give back to the Ann Arbor community. How: Because this is NOT a school- sponsored event, families should make the decision as to whether or not their child may be transported to Glacier Hills by another family (AAPS is not liable for anything that may occur in transport of children/instruments to or at this event) or are able to transport themselves. Our classes are currently preparing chamber music, and students may play what they have prepared in class at Glacier hills. Music is a wonderful gift we can give to all people, especially those whom we cannot communicate with in other ways. Thanks to you and your child for help making this concert possible!
